During the 2nd Edition of LEAP conference, it is taking place in Riyadh from 6th to 9th February. The Arab Satellite Communications Organization (Arabsat) signed a cooperation agreement with DETASAD. The agreement aims to develop satellite communications services by providing joint advanced technical solutions to serve the needs of various sectors in pursuit of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals, penetrating more than 22 countries and invest in research and development.
Eng. AlHamidi Alanezi, CEO of Arabsat, said, “the agreement with DETASAD comes within the strategic objectives of Arabsat to develop satellite communications services for the government sector and private sectors, to support the connectivity needs of these sectors considering the rapid growth of the Saudi market and Arabic markets.
