Arabsat and ERTU Celebrate the Official Launch of the Egyptian Bouquet

Arab Satellite Communications Organization “Arabsat” Celebrated the official launch of the Egyptian Bouquet on Arabsat 5-C that covers the entire African continent, it came on the sidelines of Cairo International Information and Telecommunication Technology Exhibition & Conference “Cairo ICT 2016″, which was kicked off Under the patronage of H.E President Abdel Fattah al- Sisi at Cairo International Convention Center.

Eng. Wael AlButi Chief Commercial Officer of Arabsat said that”The Egyptian Bouquet includes 7 TV Channels that will be fully broadcasted via Arabsat satellite 5-C. It will be transmitted to all parts of the African continent and this will make it the most interesting and exciting for the viewer.”

Arabsat Vice President also stressed that the Egyptian market is one of the most important markets for Arabsat where it has strong ties with both the governmental & the private sector. He also added “we are looking forward to enhancing such ties in the near future and meet all our customers growing needs in Egypt and Africa in order to maintain Arabsat reputation as the best available option to provide all its customers needs with all satellite Broadcasting & Telecommunication services.”

He concluded “We are proud that Arabsat was the first satellite to broadcast “The Egyptian Satellite TV Channel”, hoping to further apply our strategic plans for the Egyptian market soon.” On the other hand, Mr. Hussein Zain President of the Specialized TV Channels Sector in ERTU, said that ” We are pleased to cooperate with Arabsat, targeting to cover the African continent through Arabsat satellites, we look forward to further cooperation in the coming period.”

He also pointed out that the Egyptian TV through The Specialized TV Channels such as Cinema, Cultural and Sport TV Channels are able to communicate with African countries via Arabsat Satellites .

What is worth mentioning is that the celebration was attended by Mr. Amgad Balegh Head of Broadcast Engineering in ERTU, Mrs.Nadia Mabrook Head of Radio Sector, Mr. Ahmed Salim, Chairman of the Radio and Television magazine, Mr. Khaled Hanafi, Chief Editor of the Radio and Television magazine, and Mr. Ibrahim Iraqi First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, in addition to a group of representatives who work in The News Channels, the specialized magazine and ERTU and a number of the Satellite Channels & Media representatives.
