Al Maghribia is now available on Arabsat-5C for Direct-To-Home over Africa

Rabat & Riyadh June 27th, 2019 –Arabsat is pleased to announce that Al Maghribia is now available on Arabsat-5C, the leading Arabic satellite platform for Direct-To-Home services over Africa.

Al Maghribia, one of the leading channels of SNRT ( Société Nationale de Radiodiffusion et de Télévision) bouquet run with 100% Moroccan video production and targeting Moroccan population live outside of Morocco. The channel broadcasts in Arabic, Amazigh and French.

Arabsat-5C at 20° East is designed to serve the African broadcasting market, matching the specific technical requirements with the growing demand across the continent. Arabsat -5C has a huge footprint, equipped with an innovative, powerful C-band beam which covers 100 per cent of African satellite TV households and needs only the minimum required dish size to receive its channels.

SNRT have longstanding and very successful relationship with Arabsat, and the fact that Arabsat-5C carries the biggest Arabic video content over Africa over full Free-To-Air video neighborhood, makes us quite assured that Al Maghribia will score further reach and viewership over Africa.
