All orbit raising operations, appendages deployments and in-orbit-tests were performed flawlessly and as planned. The in-orbit-tests have confirmed the excellent performance parameters to which BADR-6 has been designed.
BADRŮ€6 has a payload that consists of 44 active transponders in C and Ku band over thelargest coverage area offered by ARABSAT. It will be used primarily for DTH services.
