The Arab Satellite Communications Organization (Arabsat) has signed an agreement with the organizing committee of the National Day of Qatar celebration in order to transmit the celebration for a whole month starting from 1st Dec.2008 to reflect Qatar celebration for such a historic Day. Mr. Issa Ben Abdellah ELHetamy stated that Aljazeera is interested in covering the Celebration on air through the channel of Doha in addition to documentary programs that deals with the different social, economical and athletic aspects that has been shot and produced in a studio built specially for that important event. Eng. Khalid Balkheyour, Arabsat President and CEO, expressed his best wishes for Qatar on its National Day and stated that he is so glad that the celebration of Qatar National Day is transmitted on Arabsat satellites, stressing that Arabsat will do its best to support the transmission of these successful services on Arabsat satellites, as Arabsat main concern is the satisfaction of its customers in order to provide their media services successfully. In this way Arabsat will continue to hold the top rank as the largest satellites operator in the whole Middle East and North Africa by serving its customers and enabling them to reach their viewers all over the world.
