CETel Germany (Central European Telecom Services GmbH) is a leading
provider of Teleport & Satellite Services. CETel operates from their own
Teleport facilities in the vicinity of Bonn, Germany, and their affiliated
company CETel Middle East in the U.A.E. as well as from several gateways and
Teleports of their national and international partners. The CETel services
comprise corporate VSAT networks; GSM Backhaul; Up- and Downlink services and
fibre connections; provision of satellite capacity; operation, service &
maintenance of satellite networks including hardware provision as well as broadband
Internet via satellite and consulting services.
CETel is cooperating with several Satellite operators, Telephone Network
Carrier and major IP backbone provider. Therefore, CETel is able to offer
end-to-end broadband communication solutions as a complete offer. Our customers
are multinational companies, governmental authorities, PTTs, major Telephone
Network Carrier, Telecommunication companies and leading ISPs within the
emerging markets.
CETel Services on the Arabsat Fleet
As a strategic partner of Arabsat, CETel successfully offers its satellite
services on the entire Arabsat fleet. All Arabsat satellites have a perfect
coverage and help CETel serving the growing demand in the Middle East and
African market.

The services comprise dedicated SCPC/SCPC as well as advanced DVB-S2/SCPC
services via the state of the art CETel Teleport in Germany. The CETel Teleport
with 14.000 sqm ground and more than 30 antennas on different satellites is
connected to 2 x GB, 18 x STM-1 and more than 100 x E1. The multiple TIER-1 IP
backbone is directly connected to T-Systems, Vodafone, PCCW and Colt, in
addition CETel operates it's own PoP at Telehouse North, London, UK.
The CETel Teleport is also the base of the Network Operation Center (NOC)
with 24/7 emergency and helpdesk team that can be called upon any time to
provide expert support to help operate and restore communications.
